ML100E Series
Low Cost, Miniature, 1W SMT DC/DC Converters
Stoughton, MA (January 9, 2020) Available now, the ML100E series is a family of very low-cost 1W DC/DC converters in a miniature SMT case. These converters are an excellent choice for board level power distribution applications requiring very small size, automated assembly, high-performance features, and low cost.
Forty-one standard models operate from 3.3, 5, 12, 15 and 24 VDC inputs; providing single outputs of 3.3, 5, 9, 12, 15 or 24 VDC and dual output models of ±5, ±9, ±12, ±15 and ±24. Standard features include an input/output isolation of 1,500 VDC, high efficiency, and continuous short circuit protection. The MTBF of the ML100E series (per MIL HDBK 217F) is greater than 3.5 Mhours. All models are RoHS compliant. All models meet EN 55032 Emissions, and many are certified to UL 62368.
The ML100E family is packaged in a miniature, SMT case with an industry standard pin out. They are available on tape/reel for use with automated production equipment. Operation for all models is specified over the wide operating industrial temperature range of -40°C to +105°C with no heat sinking required. Cooling is by free-air convection.
