MicroPower Direct (MPD) was founded by a group of industry veterans in 1999. Located in Stoughton, MA (just south of Boston), our steady growth is driven by a commitment to delivering innovative, high quality power conversion products at the lowest possible prices. we currently offer nearly 4,000 AC/DC & DC/DC power conversion products. 

Component selection and layout are carefully considered at the design stage to optimize product reliability. All manufacturing is in ISO9000 registered factories under strict quality control system guidelines. All products are supported worldwide, and carry a standard two year warranty.

Market:   MPD power products have been designed into a wide variety of products & systems by a very diverse customer base. End products range from computer peripherals to test instrumentation to telecommunications equipment to process/industrial controls.

Products:   MPD offers thousands of standard power conversion products. Our product lines include over 2,000 standard DC/DC conversion modules with features such as wide input ranges, high efficiency, miniature size and high MTBF's. Also offered are a complete line of compact, high performance AC/DC switching power supplies; including miniature encapsulated modules, rugged U-channel models, open frame units and low cost enclosed models. Features include universal AC input ranges, international safety approvals, single/multiple outputs, power factor correction and miniature packaging. We have now added low cost POL switching regulators, and will soon add LED drivers. New product families in each product category are being added on a regular basis.

Facilities:   In Stoughton, Massachusetts, MPD maintains sales, marketing and administration offices as well as quality/test and warehousing facilities. Stoughton is located approximately 30 miles south of Boston, MA.

All product manufacturing is done in ISO 9000 registered facilities located in Asia. Facility capabilities include automated and semiautomated assembly, test and quality assurance equipment as well a package molding system. Capacity is currently over 60,000 modules per month.

Sales:   MPD sells direct to customers in North America. We are locally supported in many regions in in North America by independent sales representatives. Eight regional distributors handle European sales.

Management:   The founders of MPD are veterans of the international power conversion industry. Collectively, they have well over 100 years experience in senior management & engineering/QA positions at some of the leading power supply companies operating today.
